Dan is a 2-way player as a RHP/OF. On the bump, he has a 3-pitch mix (FB, SL, CH) coming from a high 3/4 arm slot. He maintains smooth tempo and works the ball to both sides of the plate. He gets good glove side lead and works downhill, in-line toward this dish. Slider shows 11/5 shape while Ch shows arm-side run. He has a quick arm action and throws all 3 pitches for strikes. In the OF, Dan takes good routes/angles and works into position behind the fly-ball. He has a clean exchange and gets on top of his throws, firing them accurately into his target's chest. Offensively, this righty has a simple, middle of the field approach. He tracks the ball into the zone and waits for his pitch. Loosening up his actions will help to increase bat speed which will result in increased pop off of his bat. Dan is a solid player who should make an impact on the mound this upcoming season.

Daniel is a tall, lanky RHP/OF that will graduate in 2015. Foot speed is solid as indicated by his 7.31 60 time. Feet are active as he takes proper routes / angles but needs to work on getting behind balls more to play through with momentum to his target and improve defensive grade. Throws are accurate through a long / loose arm action but needs to build more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, Driscoll shows a balanced setup with rhythm. Swing path is level and he makes consistent contact with the ball jumping off his bat when centered. Power numbers will continue to improve as he learns to use his lower half more. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 74-78 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 11/4 shape with late depth and shows potential when he stays on top of pitch. He maintains arm speed on his changeup showing good arm side run with depth. Control is a plus as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continues to rise as more arm strength is developed.

Dan is a tall, 2-way player who pitches and plays OF. On the hill, Dan has a short arm action, eyes on target, and a controlled balance point. He has level shoulders, good direction toward home, and he hides the ball well. More glove side lead and better off-speed will improve mound effectiveness. In the OF, Dan has playable hands and feet, and he throws with accuracy to his target. Offensively, Dan has a square set-up, good balance, and direct hands to the ball. He makes square contact, he has a line drive approach, and he tracks the ball well. More lower 1/2 and added bat speed can improve hitting.
