02/16/2020 - College PREP - Sioux Falls, SD Daniel is an athletic OF who will graduate in 2022. Defensively, Daniel has active feet, a presentable glove, and he takes good routes and angles to the baseball. He has solid mechanics, he makes plays, and throws with momentum and a loose arm to his cut off man. A quicker release and added arm strength will help defense improve. At the plate, Daniel has a crouched stance, a square stride, and he swings in good rhythm. He has fast bat speed, a direct barrel, and he hits line drives consistently. If Daniel can work out his hitch, sharpen barrel accuracy, and use more lower body, hitting numbers will get better.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
