Daniel continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At the plate is where he has improved the most, now displaying solid hitting abilities with outstanding power potential through an open setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields and has strength in his swing with gap-to-gap pop. At 1B, he displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Glove action is soft but needs to present more out front. Feet are aggressive as he attacks balls through a low approach. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. On the mound, delivery is sound and repeatable allowing his arm action to work well to the plate. Fastball shows a range of 77-79 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup but throws too hard, resembling fastball. Control is a plus as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength.
