01/16/2015 - Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Daniel showed at the Under Armour Baseball Factory Pre-Season All America Tournament with a 6'/190 lbs frame with a strong lower half. At the hot corner, he created good angles with efficient footwork and worked to a good fielding position out in front. He got good reads on balls and gained ground to get his hops. His arm showed plus strength as he threw with carry to his target with a clean arm stroke. At the plate, he centered contact frequently with an accurate barrel and generated good bat speed with direct hands. He had strength at contact and he tracked very well. In all - Daniel is in good shape heading into his senior spring season and will look to be an immediate impact guy at the next level.

10/08/2014 - Arizona Senior Fall Classic Dan again showed improvement in his most recent outing. Offensively, he aligns himself square to the pitcher with a balanced stride. His hands are loose/relaxed and ready to attack. He uses his strong/level contact swing to produce line drives. Defensively, he projects as a 3B'man with consistency at almost every facet of his game. He showed a strong arm with accuracy, making him a strong candidate for 3B. He works from low to high, playing through right to left in an athletic position. Dan continues to show improvement and should be an impact player at the next level.

08/10/2014 - College PREP - Reno, NV Page is an athletic R/R SS that has skills. With the bat, this RHH shows a well balanced approach with rhythm. Barrel delivery is level to and through the zone and he connects and drives the ball with pop. He has power to all fields and will drive in runs. At SS, he works quickly on his feet and moves well from right to left. Ball is quick from glove to hand as he fires it across the diamond. He has the ability to throw from multiple arm angles and make the tough plays. Page is a talented player who has a bright future in the game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
