02/19/2018 - College PREP - Beverly Hills (Detroit), MI Daniel is a strong, well-built outfield prospect who graduates in 2020. As a right-handed hitter, Daniel has an athletic stance with his weight on his toes. Daniel has a load with an on-time stride as his lower half leads his swing. He has some whip to his swing and gets extension at contact. He lands the barrel to the baseball producing hard contact. Daniel is a contact type hitter who looks to put the ball in play. In the outfield, Daniel works hard and makes the routine plays. He fields the ball in a high position and has a slow exchange. Daniel throws from an over the top arm slot and is developing arm strength. Overall, Daniel has a balanced game and potential to get even better with development.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "present" abilities (tools), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year, using the scale below. However, grades 10-18 are not available for use with High School players (ages 14-18), while grades 55-70 are not available for use with Pre High School players (ages 12-14). These instances are marked as "--- N/A ---" in the "Description" fields below.
