01/12/2018 - 2018 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament
Daniel is a projectile two way player in the 2019 class. He is the prototypical athlete wanted at the SS position. Explosive lower half and length allows him to make all the plays, has very good range and smooth hands. Offensively, he is very balanced and can sting the ball if he times it well, showed consistent hard contact regardless of outcome. Very heads up and aggressive runner will earn extra bases and pressure defenses with his ability to take control on the base paths. On the mound, Daniel has two pitches he uses, a FB with some natural movement coming from his Low 3/4 arm slot (76-79mph), and a very good Slider (66-70mph) that breaks late and sharply into the strike zone. A can do it all type of player, his versatility and athleticism should bode well for Daniel moving forward.
