08/01/2018 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 14-18) Daniel is a coachable LHP prospect who worked hard on his skills during his time at the National World Series at Pirate City. On the mound, Daniel works with a good rhythm as he gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He has a quick, clean arm action and finishes square to the plate. Daniel shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 75mph with good arm side run. Breaking ball sits from 66-67mph with late 1-7 break. Daniel can improve as a pitcher by extending through on his release. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and takes a short stride. He gets good extension through the ball and makes solid contact. Daniel can improve as a hitter by working a smoother load into his swing. Overall, Daniel is a solid prospect who has the potential to contribute at the next level.
