10/09/2013 - Arizona Senior Fall Classic Wukich showed solid abilities in his game at the Senior Fall Classic. Defensively, he sticks the ball, framing well. He gets rid of the ball quickly and controls the running game, with pop times in the low 2's. As a hitter, he makes consistent/solid contact. He is patient, waits for his pitch, and drives the ball on a line. Danny is a hard worker who loves the game. He will make an impact this upcoming season thanks to his plus offensive and defensive abilities.

06/22/2013 - Omaha National World Series - Session 2 Danny continues to show as a C/2B at the event and still projects better behind the plate for the next level. Danny showed his best pop time to date with a 2.03 with accuracy and carry on his throws as he displays well above average arm strength. Times will continue to drop as he develops better foot work to throw. Receiving / blocking skills show as outstanding tools that will play well at the next level. At 2B, he works to square balls up, displaying clean hands as he makes the routine plays. For defensive grade to continue to improve, he needs to present hands more out front and work to get rid of the ball quicker. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick, generating bat speed to and through a level swing path. Barrel accuracy is a plus with baseball exploding off the bat when centered. At the event, he was 3 for 7 and consistently made hard contact. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude and plays hard.

04/07/2013 - College PREP - Pittsburgh, PA Danny is a two-way player that is a C/2B. He projects best behind the plate where he shows quick feet and agile range. His throws are accurate with a clean/quick exchange. His setup is athletic displaying a low target. Grades will improve by working on staying inline and improving arm strength. At 2B, Danny shows aggressive feet with agile range. His throws are accurate with a clean exchange. Grades will improve as he works from low to high fielding the ball further out in front of his body. Offensively, Danny shows fast bat speed with line drive type power. His lower half gets through with a short swing path and good extension. Hitting grades will improve as he shows the ability to let the ball travel allowing him to use the entire field. With another year before graduating, Danny shows the ability to compete at the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
