10/04/2009 - College PREP - Trenton, NJ David is a young 2-way player with only room to improve, as he grows and becomes stronger. In the outfield, his hands worked well and he showed an accurate throwing arm. David tends to drift on balls back, rather than attack it confidently. As he matures and develops, it will be important to get on a long toss program to improve his arm strength. At 2B, David's lateral movements were okay and he did a good job of catching and fielding the baseball. Again, we can expect with growth that he will get faster and improve his foot speed. At the plate, David displayed a aggressive, rhythmic swing, and decent bat speed for his age. His hitting will improve if he can square the ball up better on the barrel and get his lower 1/2 more involved in his swing.
