Baseball Factory D.C. All Star Experience (Ages 14-18)
David is an athletic and talented 2021 OF prospect that made several adjustments throughout the training weekend. In the OF, David plays through ground balls and makes accurate throws. Continuing to work on having pre-pitch movement, a quick first step to the ball, and creating angles to the ball will allow him to elevate his game at the position. At the plate, David starts in a closed stance and creates whip in the barrel. Continuing to attack the inside part of the ball and creating back hip rotation into the ball will allow him to keep the barrel through the strike zone longer. David will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

05/20/2018 - College PREP - Gambrills, MD
David is a lean OF/2B who will graduate in 2021. In the OF, he displays smooth / clean actions. He utilizes his feet well in tracking down balls through proper routes / angles. He needs to work to get behind balls and play through with momentum to his target. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At 2B, he displays smooth / clean actions. Feet are active but needs to attack balls more and play through with his body. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. Throws are accurate but needs to build more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are loose and work through an aggressive approach. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Working to get stride foot down sooner to work on time will aid in improving hitting abilities. With 3 years to further develop, David has abilities with time and room to progress his game.
