07/07/2020 - 2020 Baseball Factory's National West Showcase David is a talented OF prospect with some present strength and good energy on the field. He swung the bat well throughout the event taking a quality batting practice that showcased his easy pop (96 mph exit velocity) and ability to use the entire field. His RH stroke is coordinated with a good move through contact. He centers the ball consistently and is able to catch up to velocity. As a defender, David is aggressive in the outfield with a quick first step and good closing speed (6.82 in the 60). He has an accurate arm and is capable of playing all three OF spots. Overall, this is a prospect that does a bit of everything to help you win.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
