01/13/2023 - 2023 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament David is an athletic, strong 3B who showed as a top prospect at the Pre-Season All American Tournament. At 3B, defensive abilities are outstanding as he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he attacks ball and plays through with his body. Hands are firm and presents well out front. Throws are accurate with carry to his target. He utilizes his foot quickness (7.15 60 time) in covering a lot of ground. At the plate, he continues to shine, displaying near pro level hitting abilities with pro level power potential through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through level swing path. He has strength in swing (100 mph exit velocity) and shows a feel for the barrel with power to all fields. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. David has a high skill set and will get looks from the top collegiate coaches and pro scouts with his baseball abilities.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
