12/27/2008 - Christmas Camp and Tournament - 2008 Zambron improved his 60-yard dash from 7.50 down to 7.41. He featured athleticism defensively, along with good range and game awareness. In addition, he showed good glove action with good overall fielding skills. His am fits best at 2B, due to a low slot - would ideally work to improve arm strength, and would raise arm angle a bit as well. At the plate, he showed some bat control and did a fair job of closing down with his stride after starting in an open stance. He started his hands tight to his shoulder, and did not get his hands working back in his load - the result was some trouble getting them started to the zone. Has some extra life in his swing if he can work to improve the fluidity and separation (hands away from front foot) in his pre-pitch action.
