08/09/2019 - Baseball Factory Advanced Analytics & Pro Training Experience (Ages 12-14) Delsyn is a coachable 1B/RHP prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Analytics Training Weekend. Delsyn shows great effort in his athletic testing and runs his 60 in 10.19 seconds. Improving his run form can help Delsyn improve athletically. At the plate, this RHH creates great leverage and drives the baseball well. Working on his contact points can help Delsyn improve as a hitter. In the field, Delsyn makes the routine plays and works to keep his throws accurate to his target. Taking a more efficient first step can help Delsyn improve defensively. With six more years to develop, Delsyn has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

07/28/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Virginia Beach, VA Delsyn is thin, athletic, 2-way player who pitches and plays 1st base. On the mound, Delsyn has good balance over the rubber, he separates his hands on time, and lands with good direction toward home plate. His FB touches 58 MPH, and he mixes in his off-speed well. Defensively, Delsyn moves well to the baseball and shows the ability to pick it out of the dirt. He keeps the ball in front of his body and throws with accuracy to his target. At the plate, Delsyn has a square stance, he loads well, and swings in good rhythm. He has good hand separation, decent bat speed, and he hits line drives. Overall skills can continue to improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "present" abilities (tools), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year, using the scale below. However, grades 10-18 are not available for use with High School players (ages 14-18), while grades 55-70 are not available for use with Pre High School players (ages 12-14). These instances are marked as "--- N/A ---" in the "Description" fields below.
