08/04/2014 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 Devin is a very consistent player that showed good actions at the Baseball Factory Pirate City World Series. In the OF, he worked good angles to make plays with a controlled body and sure hands. He kept his momentum going through the catch to throw with accuracy. Improving his foot speed and first step quickness is important for his versatility at the next level. Offensively, he had a strong presence in the box, getting to a good hitting position with activated hands and balance. He showed plus rhythm and was aggressive to get down to contact on a direct path. He needs to work to drive with his lower half and stay through with his top hand for maximum extension. All in all - Curd has another two years to add strength and consistency for the next level.
