07/29/2015 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 Dillon (6'2"/225) LHH catcher shined during his time at Pirate City. This talented backstop sits in well with athletic actions and flexion. Quick lateral footwork allows him to center pitches off of his chest, deadening them in front. Transfer/exchange is quick as he zips throws on a line (impressive pop times of 1.95). Offensively, this LHH has a balanced setup with fluid rhythm to load. Barrel delivery is quick with plus bat speed. He connects with authority and drives the ball to the deep parts of the park. He will be a run producer with his ability to spray the ball to the gaps. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
