02/26/2017 - College PREP - Atlanta, GA Djialon is a 2017 2B with great foot speed (6.82 60 time). In the field, Djialon has active feet and uses his speed to cover ground. He works around the ball and gets into a square position to field. He shows a clean exchange and a quick release on his throws which allows them to remain accurate and on-line to his target. Djialon can improve defensively by presenting his hands more out front to field the ball. At the plate, this LHH sets up in a square, athletic stance and takes a short stride to the ball. He is smooth getting back into his load and comes through well with his lower half. He takes a short swing to the ball with explosive bat speed which leads to hard contact and gap to gap power. Overall, Djialon is a talented prospect who has the tools that will play at the next level.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
