01/17/2020 - 2020 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Dominic is an athletic and talented 2021 SS prospect. At SS, Dominic is on time with his prep step, he presents a low/early glove, and has smooth hands when fielding. He has a clean exchange and can make accurate throws from multiple arm angles. At the plate, Dominic starts in a crouched stance, he loads his hands back, and gets to balance with his lower half. He whips the barrel through the zone and he looks to make hard contact to all fields. Dominic will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

01/18/2019 - 2019 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Dominic is an athletic MIF prospect who continued to showcase his skills at the Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament. In the field, Dominic shows active footwork and flashes good lateral range. He gets into position on time and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a clean exchange and throws with a quick arm, keeping his throws accurate to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a square stride. He gets into his load on time and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a level swing with fast bat speed and plus barrel control, leading to line drives to all fields. Overall, Dominic is a talented prospect who should find success in this, his sophomore season.

10/03/2018 - Arizona Sophomore Fall Classic Dominic is a coachable MIF prospect who continued to work hard on his skills during his time at the Arizona Sophomore Fall Classic. In the field, Dominic shows quick footwork and covers ground well. He gets into and athletic position and fields the ball out in front with soft hands. He makes a clean exchange and flashes a quick release on his throws, keeping them accurate and on-line to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He is fluid getting into his load and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a direct swing with fast bat speed which leads to hard contact and solid line drives. Overall, Dominic is a solid prospect who has the potential to further develop his skills on the field.

05/20/2018 - College PREP - Redwood City (San Francisco/San Jose), CA Dominic is an athletic built SS/OF prospect who switch hits. At SS, Dominic plays with active footwork and shows range in each direction laterally. He presents his glove and fields the ball in a square position. He shows a smooth backhand when needed. Dominic has a clean exchange leading into a loose arm action. He plays with good momentum through the baseball showing consistently online throws across the diamond. He has the ability to change arm slot depending on the play. Offensively, Dominic has an athletic, crouched stance with a centered balance and firm front side. He has fluid rhythm with a good load and short, square stride as he uses his lower half throughout his swing. Dominic shows fast bat speed with a direct swing path. He gets good extension and produces consistent contact. Dominic has a quiet approach and is a line drive type hitter. Overall, Dominic is a talented prospect who has an above average skill set.

12/27/2016 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic - Session 2 Dominic is a talented young player with the ability to play both the 2B and SS positions at a high level. Defensively, Dominic has smooth hands, works behind the ball, and has solid range. His speed allows him to make quick turns on DP's both up the middle and in the hole. Dominic's ability to switch hit makes him a dynamic offensive player. From the right side, Dominic has good rhythm, and needs to stay short to contact by attacking the inner part of the ball. From the left side, he needs to continue to stay balanced, keep his head down at contact, and drive his back hip through the ball. Dominic's “path A” approach continues to help him improve with experience.

10/16/2016 - Interactive Video Program - Santa Rosa, CA Dominic put on a strong showing at the SS/OF positions. In the infield, he displays good pre-pitch movement, working into a low fielding position. He moves quick laterally with a smooth/clean exchange to throw. In the OF, he takes hard angles as he tracks down fly balls He works to stay behind the ball with good reads as he comes up firing with accurate throws. With the bat, Dominic hits from both sides of the plate. He presents a solid/athletic setup as he drives pitches on a line to all parts of the field. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

10/18/2015 - Interactive Video Program - Santa Rosa, CA Dominic is a young, 2-way player (SS/OF). With the bat, this RHH shows an athletic/square setup with rhythm to load. Swing is level as he connects and hits the ball where it's pitched and drives it to all parts of the field. At SS, Dominic has athletic actions with quick footwork as he moves well around the GB. He funnels smoothly with a clean exchange to throw. In the OF, he is aggressive and tracks fly-balls down with speed. He gathers well and takes an aggressive crow-hop gaining ground toward his target. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
