01/17/2020 - 2020 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Dominic is a tall and lanky 2022 2-way prospect. At SS, Dominic is on time with his prep step, he presents a low/early glove, and has good hands. He has a clean exchange and makes accurate throws. At the plate, Dominic starts in a tall and open stance. He loads his hands back into the drive position, he has explosive hands, and hits the ball with power to all fields. On the bump, Dominic finds a balance point, he separates on time, and has a loose arm action. He stays in line toward the plate and works downhill. He gets run on his fastball, he has good depth on his curveball, and he has feel for the changeup. Dominic is a competitor and we hope to see his progress in the future.

09/22/2019 - National Tryout Plus - Lynnwood (Seattle), WA Dominic is an athletic SS/RHP prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the field. At SS, Dominic shows efficient footwork and attacks the ball aggressively. He gets into a square position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a clean exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them consistently on-line to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a square stride. He is smooth getting into his load and hits against a strong front side. He takes a direct swing with fast bat speed, leading to loud contact and great power potential. On the mound, Dominic gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose arm and extends through his release, staying inline towards the plate. He shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 85mph. Breaking ball sits from 58-61mph with late 11-5 break. Changeup sits from 73-75mph. Overall, Dominic is a talented prospect who will be one to follow going into his sophomore season.

01/18/2019 - 2019 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Dominic is an athletic SS/RHP prospect who showcased his skills at the All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament. In the field, Dominic takes a good first step and shows smooth footwork. He makes a clean exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them accurate with carry across the diamond. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and takes a square stride. He takes a level swing with explosive bat speed and good extension, leading to good power to his pull side. On the mound, Dominic starts with a small rock step and gathers over the rubber. He is fluid separating his hands on time and works with a loose arm, staying inline towards the plate. Dominic shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 82mph with late arm side run. Breaking ball sits from 64-66mph with sharp 11-5 break. Changeup sits from 67-69mph with good arm side run as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Overall, Dominic is a talented prospect who will be one to follow going into his freshman season.

06/24/2018 - National Tryout Plus - Tacoma (Seattle), WA Dominic is a tall, lanky built SS/RHP prospect who has a talented skill set. Offensively, Dominic has an open stance with a firm front side and centered balance. He has smooth rhythm with a good load and square stride. Dominic shows fast bat speed with a direct swing path producing hard contact. He is a line drive type hitter who has the ability to drive the ball to each gap with power. In the field, Dominic plays with active footwork taking effective angles to cover good ground. He fields the ball in an athletic position with soft hands. Dominic has a clean exchange leading into a short arm action throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot. He plays through the baseball with momentum towards his target showing accurate throws across the diamond. On the mound, Dominic works downhill with a balanced, on-time delivery. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a free arm action and extends through his release. He keeps his eyes on his target and stays square with a controlled landing. Dominic pivots off his back foot and effectively rotates towards his target as he finishes. He commands all 3 pitches. His fastball has tail movement and his curveball is late breaking. Overall, Dominic is a versatile prospect who has a bright future on the diamond.

12/20/2017 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic - Session 1 (Ages 12-14) Dominic is a lean and athletic SS/RHP prospect. At SS, Dominic has a quick first step; he creates angles to the ball, and throws from multiple arm slots. Presenting a low/early glove, and working from the ground up will keep Dominic in the proper position to field. At the plate, Dominic uses his hips and hands well. He strides knee-to-knee, uses the backside and shows fast bat speed. Continuing to get the front foot down early, and staying behind the ball will help Dominic stay behind the ball. On the bump, Dominic gathers over the rubber, shows clean arm action, and shows good control of the fastball. Continuing to have a strong glove side, and finishing over the front side will keep him directional. Continuing to focus and be a student of the game will elevate Dominic's skill set. Dominic will continue to improve with experience we hope to see his progress in the future.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
