Dom is a 2014 graduate who possesses both good speed and solid arm strength. In the outfield he closes ground very well, plays through the ball, uses his lower half and he is accurate to the target. At the plate Dom has a quiet/middle approach, strong hands, good lower half, bat speed and gap power. If he gets his swing path out towards the field more rather than up towards the sky his power and consistency will improve. Dom is a very talented player so if he makes the necessary adjustments there is no reason he should not be a very good player in the future.

Dominic continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 6.97 60 time. He utilizes his quick / athletic feet well in working in line through a clean transfer / exchange as he gets rid of the baseball quickly. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.17. Throws are accurate, flashing carry but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. Receiving / blocking skills show as quality tools that will play well at the next level. In the OF, he utilizes his quick / athletic feet well in getting good jumps and reads balls well off the bat as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. At the plate, he shows a balanced setup with rhythm. Hands are quick, generating bat speed but needs to work to stay inside the ball to utilize all fields. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and is a hard worker.

Dominic is an athletic, 2-way player who catches and plays OF. Behind the plate, Dominic has sure hands, efficient footwork, and he sits in low and athletically. He has good flexion, blocks well, and he delivers the ball with a short arm action with consistency to his target. Not kicking back when blocking and continuing to add arm strength will only help catching improve. In the OF, Dominic is aggressive to the ball, his feet are active, and his hands are sure. He squares up well to the ball and delivers it with good consistency to his target. More pre-pitch actions and playing through the ball will improve OF abilities. At the plate, Dominic has a square set-up, a short stride, and fast bat speed. He makes hard / consistent contact, and gets his lower body through. Letting the ball travel deeper will only help spike already solid hitting grades.
