02/07/2016 - College PREP - Tomball (Houston), TX Dominic is a (6'1"/180) 1B who can swing it. Offensively, this righty stands in with a solid base. He has fluid rhythm to load, waits for his pitch and jumps on one that he likes. He fires the barrel through a short/direct path and connects with strength as the ball jumps off of his barrel (exit velocity = 93 mph). At 1B - Dominic has active prep and hustles into a square fielding position. He moves well to his glove side and makes the plays with soft/sure hands. Dominic is a well-rounded athlete whose skills will translate well into the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
