06/16/2022 - Omaha National World Series - Session 1 (HS) Dominik is a coachable 2023 SS/RHP who showed well during the National World Series in Omaha. In the field, Dominik shows smooth actions, with efficient footwork, and moves well laterally. He has a good glove angle with a clean exchange. Has a short arm stroke in the back with a high 3/4 arm slot forward and an arm velocity up to 80mph. Throws were accurate with good carry across the diamond. At the plate, he hits from an athletic and open stance. He keeps his weight between his knees and rotates his lower half to contact point. During his round of BP, he hit line drives to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 75mph. In live game action, he had 2 singles and an RBI. On the mound, Dominik gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm stroke and has a controlled landing. He attacks hitters with a fastball topping out at 73mph with tailing action, an 11/5 shaped breaking ball with tight spin, and a knuckle ball with some downward action. In 4 innings of work, he punched out 4 hitters while throwing 59% of his pitches for strikes. Overall, Dominik is a hard working player who has the skill set to further develop on the baseball field.

05/22/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Parker, CO Dominik is a SS/RHP who will graduate in 2023. Tall frame athletic build with strength present and room to add throughout. At SS, he starts with prep step and active feet. He works from down to up and has a clean exchange. Has a long arm stroke in back as he throws from a high 3/4 arm slot forward with an arm velocity up to 82mph. Made accurate and on-line throws to first base. Showed good touch on his DP feeds. On the mound, he gets a good rear hip coil and works with good direction down the mound. Throws with intent and showed a quick. Attacks hitters with a FB that sits 76-77mph with some sinking action, a 12/6 shaped breaking ball with good depth, an 11/5 shaped slider, and a changeup with sinking action that he throws with FB arm speed. CB was best pitch during his bullpen session. At the plate, he hits from an athletic and open stance. A quiet head and level eyes enable him to track pitches well. He is centered at contact and keeps his hands inside the baseball. Gets good extension through the baseball as he sprayed baseballs to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 81mph. With another year of continued growth and development, we foresee Dominik having a bright future on the baseball field.

04/24/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Colorado Springs, CO Dominik is a 2B/RHP who will graduate in 2023. Tall frame athletic build with strength present. At 2B, starts with a good pre-pitch routine, with quick feet, and has good body control at the baseball. Works from right to left and fields from a low fielding position with hands out front. Has a long arm stroke in back with the ability to throw from multiple arm slots and an arm velocity up to 80mph across the diamond. Made accurate and on-line throws consistently, with a quick release, and he keeps his feet moving throughout throwing process. Showed good touch of his DP feeds and good footwork on his DP pivots. On the mound, he separates his hands on time, with a clean arm, and gets extended to catchers mitt. He works downhill, with a controlled landing, and lands square to target. He throws a FB that topped out at 76mph with tailing action, an 11/5 shaped breaking ball with depth through strike zone, and a changeup with arm side run that he throws with FB arm speed. At the plate, he hits from an athletic and even stance. Starts with a short glide step, with quick/activated hands, and keeps weight between his knees. Showed a high finish as he hit balls consistently to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 76mph during BP. With another year of growth and development, we foresee Dominik having a bright future on the baseball field.

12/20/2020 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 1 Dominik is a coachable 3B/RHP prospect who showcased his skills during the Christmas Camp & Tournament. In the field, Dominik fields the ball out in front of his body and works to make accurate throws to his target. Getting into a lower fielding position can help Dominik field ground balls more efficiently. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and takes a short stride. He gets into a simple load and works to barrel up the baseball, using the entire field well. Dominik can create more consistent contact by working through a shorter swing path. On the mound, Dominik shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 72mph with sinking action. Breaking ball sits from 60-63mph with 11-5 break. Striding inline toward the plate can help Dominik improve his pitch command. With three more years to develop, Dominik has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

08/14/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Parker (Denver), CO Dominik is a 2B prospect who will graduate in 2023. In the field, Dominik shows quick footwork and is agile moving to the ball. He gets into a low position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a clean exchange and keeps his throws accurate and on-line to his target. Long tossing to build up his arm strength can help Dominik improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He is smooth getting into his load and hits against a strong front side. He takes a short swing with fast bat speed, leading to consistent contact to all fields. Dominik can improve as a hitter by getting more extension through the ball. Overall, Dominik is a solid prospect who has the time and potential to further develop his skills on the field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.
