12/27/2023 - Baseball Factory Recruiting Classic Dominik is a 2025 SS/RHP that showed his talents at the BF Recruiting Classic. In the field, he looks comfortable and creates good angles. Dominik look very comfortable to his backhand and uses good momentum across the infield. He throws from a ¾ arm slot, has accurate throws, and good carry. He showcased a top raw velo of 85 mph. On the mound, he showed a lot of upside. He has a FB that sat at 79 mph, a SL that he was able to throw for strikes, and a CH that has FB arm speed. In 2 innings of work in the game he allowed just 1 hit. At the plate, he starts from a tall stance, with loose hands, and an activated load. Dominik has good rhythm, an explosive lower ½, and a good swing path. He showcased some pop during batting practice with an exit velo of 85 mph and a double in the game. We foresee that Dominik will continue to impress coaches as he progresses.

09/10/2023 - National Showcase - Thousand Oaks, CA Dominik is an athletic 2B/RHP who is a prospect on the diamond. At 2B, defensive abilities are outstanding as he shows smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he attacks ball and plays through with his body. Hands are clean and presents well out front. Range will improve as he continues to increase foot quickness. Throws are accurate with carry (88 mph velocity) to his target. At the plate, hitting / power potential are outstanding through an open setup. Hands are quick (88 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap-to-gap pop. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 77-78 mph. Slider has tight spin, displaying 11/5 shape with short break. Control is solid as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. With 2 years to further develop, Dominik has a lot of potential and will get looks from the collegiate coaches as he continues to progress his game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
