Doran is a 2026 2B/RHP. Small frame thin build with some strength present with plenty of time to fill out as he develops. Primary 2B stays in front of the baseball well and makes routine plays. Tracks ball well into glove with a low funnel. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot with an arm velocity 57mph. Secondary RHP, who does a good job of gathering over rubber with good direction to plate. Young pitcher who incorporates lower half and competes on the mound. Doran throws a FB with slight movement, an 11/5 shaped CB, and a developing changeup. Doran needs to incorporate a long toss and J-band program to increase arm strength and accuracy. Right-handed hitter uses an upright and athletic stance. Simple load and balanced swing allows him to spray line drives to all fields. Continued growth and development should help him in his high baseball career and beyond.
