01/23/2022 - All-In Membership - Newnan, GA Dorian is an OF prospect who will graduate in 2023. In the field, Dorian shows fluid footwork and is agile covering ground. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front with soft hands. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate with carry through his target. Long tossing can help Dorian build up his arm strength. At the plate, this LHH sets up in an open stance and takes a square stride. He is smooth to load and engages his lower half well. He works through a level swing and drives the ball from gap to gap. Dorian can barrel up more baseballs by getting into his load sooner. Overall, Dorian is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
