03/25/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Oklahoma City, OK Drake is a young, 2-way player with a thin frame. On the mound, Drake stands over the rubber well balanced, he separates on time, and lands with good direction toward home. He keeps his head on target, has a proper length landing, and is around the zone with his pitches. At SS, Drake has playable hands and feet and he finds the hops well. He squares up well to field and throws with okay accuracy across the diamond. Offensively, Drake has a square set-up, a solid base, and he makes contact. He starts with a good bat angle and puts the ball in play. Drake can improve overall skills with work on the following.

Pitching
1. Arm action
2. Finish
3. Lower body

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
