12/27/2015 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2 Drew is a projectable (6'0"/195) 2-way player who has a willingness to learn. He is a hard worker who made adjustments each day during his time in Pirate City. On the mound, this RHP fires a 3-pitch mix from an over the top arm slot. He stays directional and repeats his delivery well. He works both sides of the plate and throws strikes with all pitches. FB tops out at 75 mph while showing some cut. Breaking ball has 10/4 shape as he works it into all counts. CH has slight run as he throws it with FB arm speed - helping to create deception. More glove side lead and finishing with more extension on his follow through will help to improve effectiveness on all pitches. At 1B - Drew shows active prep footwork and comes to get the GB. He is a solid target at 1B who can get to almost anything thrown his way. With the bat, this RHH has active hands with rhythm as he waits for a pitch he likes. Swing is level as he connects with pop when centered. Striding more square will allow him to engage his full lower 1/2 and tap into more power potential. Davis has upside with still time to progress to get to where he wants to be.
