08/23/2020 - All-In Membership - St Cloud (Minneapolis), MN Dreyer is a solid/strong (6'1"/195) 2-way player (C/RHP) who can swing it. Offensively, this righty displays an open stance with centered balance, a strong base and fluid rhythm to load. Quick hands whip the barrel to and through the zone with authority as he engages his lower 1/2 well and squares the ball up with pop (exit velocity = 85 mph). He hits the ball where it's pitched and sprays the gaps. Behind the dish, he sits in well and presents a low/soft target, tracking and sticking pitches in the zone. He works hard laterally to center/body-up pitches in the dirt, keeping the ball in front. Transfer is clean with accurate throws down to 2B - pop times at 2.10. On the mound, this RHP has a 3-pitch mix coming from a high 3/4 arm slot. He maintains good pace, keeps his eyes on the target and repeats his delivery well. FB ranges from 74-76 mph while CB has 11/5 shape with good action. Changeup is thrown with FB arm speed helping to create deception. He works the ball in and out throwing strikes consistently. Homan has a solid skill-set and should find success in this his junior year.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
