05/28/2019 - 2019 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National South Dwight is an athletic and talented 2020 OF prospect. In the OF, Dwight is on time with his prep step, works behind the ball, and makes accurate throws. He has good routes to the ball and backs up the bases well. He needs to continue to increase arm strength and first step quickness to the ball. At the plate, Dwight starts in an athletic stance, loads his hands back into the drive position, and has explosive hands. He drives his backside through the ball and looks for the ball middle-out. He uses the whole feel and has gap to gap power. Dwight will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
