02/22/2020 - Baseball Factory Mid-Atlantic Offensive Skills Weekend - Columbia, MD (Ages 14-18) Dylan continues to impress us with his growth, strength, and confidence at the plate, from event to event. Most recently, we saw his best performance with an 86 mph exit velo. His confidence throughout drills and live AB's was very evident as he maintained his line-drive stroke with a direct/on-plane path. His lower half worked through well and he was fluid & smooth with his move initiating the swing. Dylan maintains himself as a sound prospect with an ability to use all fields. We look forward to his progress through the summer and into his freshman fall!

07/26/2019 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 14-18) Dylan is an athletic and scrappy 2020 2B prospect that made several adjustments throughout the week. At 2B, Dylan is on time with his prep step, he presents a low/early glove, and has a good first step to the ball. He fields the ball in an athletic position and makes accurate throws. Continuing to play through the ball will improve his fluidity when making plays. He has good turns on double plays but needs to improve his backhand feeds. At the plate, Dylan starts in a crouched stance, he has loose hands, and has a simple load. He gets to balance with his lower half and hits the ball to all fields. On the bases he gets good reads on dirtballs and makes good turns. Dylan is a hard worker and continue to improve each event we see him.

02/23/2019 - Mid Atlantic Regional Hitting Weekend (Ages 14-18) Dylan is an athletic and talented 2020 prospect that was eager to learn and made several adjustments throughout the weekend. At the plate, Dylan starts in a tall and open stance. He gets his front foot down on time, creates backside drive with his lower half, and keeps his barrel on plane to the ball. He needs to continue to attack the inside part of the ball and back the ball up. Creating rhythm in his load and staying balanced through contact will help him whip the barrel through the zone. Dylan is a hard worker and we hope to see his progress in the future.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
