08/02/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Council Bluffs (Omaha), IA Dylan is a RHP prospect who will graduate in 2022. On the mound, Dylan gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works inline toward the plate and finishes with his chest over his front knee. Dylan shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 80mph with sinking action. Breaking ball sits from 62-63mph with 12-6 break. Changeup sits from 64-65mph. Loosening his arm action can help Dylan improve as a pitcher. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and takes a square stride. He shows smooth rhythm and drives through well with his lower half. He gets good extension through the ball with fast bat speed, leading to loud contact and solid pull side pop. Dylan can improve as a hitter by working more of a load into his swing. Overall, Dylan is a solid prospect who has the potential to further develop his skills on the field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
