06/18/2021 - Baseball Factory All-State Tournament (HS) Dylan continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. On the mound, delivery is sound / repeatable as he shows good tempo through a strong balance point, allowing his arm action to work quick and free to the plate. Fastball shows a range of 84-85 mph with plus arm side run. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with late break. Command / control is solid as he attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches. At the plate, hands are quick (82 mph exit velocity) as he squares the ball up consistently driving it on a line.

02/12/2021 - Baseball Factory Opening Day Classic (HS - West) Dylan is a tall RHP/OF prospect who showcased his offensive skills during the Opening Day Classic. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and tracks the ball well. He works to barrel up the baseball and uses the entire field well. Getting his stride foot down sooner can help Dylan improve his timing. Overall, Dylan is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

12/18/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - San Bernardino, CA Dylan is a tall, athletic OF/RHP who has a bright future on the diamond. In the OF not many balls get down that are hit his way. Transfer exchange is smooth as he zips throws (90 mph velocity) on a line through his target. He has the versatility to play all 3 OF spots effectively. At the plate, he continues to shine. He stands in with a solid/strong base and has fluid rhythm to load. Barrel delivery is short/quick with aggression (87 mph exit velocity) as he connects with power driving the ball to all fields. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 83-87 mph with arm side run and sink. Breaking ball shows 11/5 shape with late / sharp break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup and shows a feel for pitch with arm side run / sink. Control is outstanding as he throws strikes with all his pitches. With 2 years to further develop, Dylan has a tremendous upside and will get looks from the collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities, possibly as a two-way guy.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
