08/14/2011 - College PREP - Raleigh, NC Dylan is a tall, thin, and athletic two-way player at 3B and on the mound that will graduate in 2012. Foot speed is average as he will benefit by getting on a speed / agility program to improve foot quickness. Feet are active but he needs to be more aggressive in coming to get while playing through with his body. Hands are soft and clean but get deep due to his feet stopping through the fielding process as he needs to present more out front. He gets rid of the baseball quickly with throws showing accuracy as he needs to get on a long toss program to aid in building more arm strength, plus raising velocities. Offensively, Gore shows a balanced approach and loads well. Hands are quick, flashing bat speed with the ball jumping off his bat when centered. Swing path gets long due to bat wrap created in his load. He needs to work on keeping hands inside the ball to utilize all fields. On the mound, fastball shows a 79-81 mph with arm side run. Off speed pitches are average, needing further development to be quality pitches at the next level. Dylan has abilities with a lot of room to improve.
