12/27/2010 - Christmas Camp and Tournament 2010 - Session 2 Dylan is a two-way player at SS plus on the mound with an athletic frame that is well suited for his positions. Currently, he projects only at SS for the next level. Foot speed is well above average as indicated by his 7.16 60 time. Feet are active and aggressive in working around and playing through the baseball with his body. Hand and feet work well together through the fielding and throwing process. Glove action is a plus displaying soft, clean, and sure hand in making all the plays. Actions are loose, easy, and athletic. Throws display life, carry, and accuracy across the diamond and throws well on the run. Offensively, Johnson continues to shine displaying an aggressive approach. He loads well and works hands inside the ball utilizing all fields. Power is a plus as he has strength in his swing with baseball exploding off his bat as he showing extension through contact. At the event, he was 3 for 6 with a bunt single. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 77-78 mph with an average breaking ball. Dylan has an upside in the MIF and will get looks from the collegiate coaches with his abilities.
