05/28/2020 - 2020 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National South Dylan is one of the top prospects in the 2022 class and he was outstanding at the Baseball Factory South Showcase. He struck out the first 5 hitters he faced using his advanced 3-pitch arsenal. His fastball sat in the 92-93 mph range with late life, and he does it easy. Dylan's delivery is athletic and repeatable and his arm stroke if free and clean. Complementing the FB were his curve that had good rotation and late bite and his change that is so effective that it elicits quite a bit of swing-and-miss from hitters. This is an exciting combination of excellent stuff and an advanced ability to pitch that should allow him to compete successfully at a very high level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
