01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (FL) Dylan continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. At 2B, defensive abilities are excellent as he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he attacks balls and plays through well with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. Throws are accurate with carry to his target. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (81 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He has strength in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel through a line drive approach.

08/11/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Trenton, NJ Dylan continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has an excellent future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 6.95 runner. At SS, defensive abilities have improved, now showing outstanding tool as he displays fluid, smooth actions. He attacks balls with his feet and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally and covers ground. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he continues to shine through a squared setup. He is aggressive as he attacks balls through a level swing path. Hands are quick (84 mph exit velocity) and he makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side.

12/29/2019 - College PREP - Swarthmore (Philadelphia), PA Dylan continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 7.33 runner. At 2B, defensive abilities are now well above average as he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active and plays through balls with his body. Glove action is firm and presents well out front. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, potential has improved through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He works to keep hands inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will continue to increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently.

01/18/2019 - Baseball Factory National Spring Training at Pirate City Dylan is a coachable 2B/OF prospect who worked hard on his skills during his time at the Spring Training at Pirate City. In the field, Dylan gets into an atheltic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a clean exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them accurate to his target. Increasing his lateral range can help Dylan improve defensively. At the plate, this LHH sets up in a tall stance with comfortable hands. He gets into a simple load and makes solid contact. Dylan can improve as a hitter by driving his lower half more. With three more years to develop, Dylan has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

08/14/2018 - College PREP - Trenton, NJ Dylan is a young, 2nd baseman who was only able to hit at his last workout due to weather. Offensively, Dylan finds the barrel well, he stands in athletically, and has a direct barrel to the ball. He has fast bat speed, works it gap to gap, and he uses his lower body. Dylan is a good hitter for his age and with added strength and more lower body, hitting will further improve.

11/17/2016 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition at Pirate City Dylan continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. At 2B, defensive abilities have improved as he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he works to square up balls. He is aggressive attacking ground balls and plays through balls with his body. Glove action is soft / clean and presents well out front. He shows off his athletic abilities on his feeds / turn of the double play. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. At the plate, power potential has improved through an athletic setup. He shows an aggressive approach through a balanced setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He works to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. At the event, he was 2 for 4 with a 2B. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, is a great teammate, and works hard to be the best player he can be.

08/08/2016 - Interactive Video Program - Trenton, NJ Dylan is an OF/2B who will graduate in 2022. In the OF, he takes aggressive routes as he tracks down fly balls. He receives the ball at its highest point and plays through. At 2B, he gets into an athletic fielding position. He flat out hustles on every play and gives maximum effort in the field. At the plate, Dylan gets into a good loading stance as he displays good mechanics in his swing. He drives his lower ½ through the ball and sprays to all parts of the field. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
