Dylan is a L/L OF/LHP that will graduate in 2017. Defensively, he showed good pre-pitch footwork, good body control and good footwork that allowed for direct routes to field. He did a nice job reading fly balls and will continue to improve his defense when he gets stronger and gets more reps. Offensively, he is direct with the barrel and has good hand/hip coordination. He tracks well and is a spray type hitter. On the bump, the southpaw threw three pitches - topping out at a new high of 72 MPH and throwing two breaking balls to keep hitters off balance. Overall Powell has a workman type attitude that got after it day in and day out, showing improvements over the course of the event.
