10/08/2016 - Hitting Accelerated Training Weekend (Ages 12-14) Dylan is a solid young hitter who will graduate in 2022. At the plate, Dylan sets up in an athletics stance and takes a square stride to the ball. He shows good balance as he comes through the zone with his lower half, finishing with a firm front side. He shows fast bat speed which leads to hard contact and solid gap power. Dylan can improve as a hitter by staying inside the ball and by incorporating a smoother rhythm to improve his timing. Overall, Dylan is a talented hitter who will only get better as he continues to develop.

09/25/2016 - Interactive Video Program - Washington (Pittsburgh), PA Dylan is an athletic 3B/RHP who still has time to improve. At 3B, he moves well laterally fielding tough GB's hit in the hole. He works hard to keep balls in front of him as he makes accurate throws to his target. On the mound, this RHP stays balanced throughout his delivery. He pounds the zone with strikes as he works in line towards home plate. With the bat, Dylan presents a balanced setup. He swings a level bat path through the zone, driving pitches back up through the middle of the field. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
