02/09/2020 - National Tryout Plus - Douglasville (Atlanta), GA Dylan continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. He did show at 3B for the first time at the event. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At 3B, defensive abilities are solid as he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active and plays through balls with his body. Glove action is soft but needs to present more out front. He moves well laterally with range improving as he continues to improve foot quickness. In the OF, he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. Feet are active but needs to work to get behind balls more to play through with momentum to his target. Throws are accurate but needs to build more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He works to keep hands inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. He has some strength in his swing with power showing best to the pull side.

12/20/2017 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic - Session 1 (Ages 12-14) Dylan is a coachable 2B/OF prospect who worked hard on his skills during his time at the Baseball Factory Winter Classic. In the field, Dylan shows active footwork and fields the ball in a low position. He gains momentum well on his throws and keeps them consistently on-line to his target. Dylan can improve defensively by presenting his glove to the ball sooner. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a crouched stance and takes a square stride. He gets back into his load and takes a short swing to the ball, producing solid contact. Dylan can improve as a hitter by driving his lower half more. With four more years to develop, Dylan has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

10/29/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Peachtree City (Atlanta), GA Dylan continues to work hard and show improvements as a 2B/OF. Defensively at 2B, he hustles with active footwork and gets into a square fielding position on GB's. He fields the ball with clean hands and comes up with a clean exchange to throw. In the OF, he takes aggressive routes/angles as he tracks down hard-hit fly balls. He presents his hands and has a quick exchange to throw. At the plate, Dylan displays a square setup with balance. He swings on a level path through the zone and drives pitches on a line. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

10/15/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Birmingham, AL Dylan is a (2022-grad) as a 2B/OF. Defensively at 2B, he's aggressive as he attacks the GB and works into a square fielding position. He comes up with a clean exchange and makes on-line throws to his target. In the OF, he takes effective routes as he tracks down fly balls. He comes and gets the ball and tries to play through towards his target. At the plate, Dylan looks to power up pitches in the zone. He takes aggressive hacks and sprays pitches to all parts of the field. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
