Official Scouting Report

01/14/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season Prospects Tournament (HS) Dylan is a 2025 3B/RHP who showcased his skills during the Baseball Factory Pre-Season Prospects Tournament. On the mound, he works from the stretch only. He his a young and developing pitcher who showed a willingness to be coached all weekend. He picks up target early and keeps his eyes on target. He attacks hitters with a FB that sat 61-63mph. In the field, he tries to create good fielding angles while working to center the baseball. Made consistent throws from a 3/4 arm slot with an arm velocity up to 60mph. At the plate, this right-handed hitter hits from an upright and open stance. Quiet head and level eyes enable him to track pitches well. Showed looseness to his hands as he made contact to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 77mph. During the games, he reached base multiple times and showed good plate discipline. With 3 years of continued growth and development, we foresee this 2-way player making huge strides on the baseball field.

10/03/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Spokane, WA Dylan is a lanky lean 2025 RHP/2B. Defensively, he displayed good range with active feet and the ability to throw from different arm angles all while making accurate throws to 1B. Offensively, Dylan uses a square stance with a long stride to create separation and keep a line drive approach. He tries to utilize all fields with his swing. On the bump, he exhibited decent mechanics which allowed him to throw strikes. His changeup seemed to be his out pitch and was a deceptive pitch that worked well off his fastball. Dylan is still growing into his body and once he continues to improve his movements he will progress quickly and his game will take another step forward.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
