01/13/2023 - 2023 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Dylan is a 2026 RHP/3B who showcased his skills during the BF Rookie PSAA Tournament. At 3B, he works from the ground up as he fields from an athletic fielding position. Showed soft hands as he fields out front, with a clean transfer, and has good glove actions. Made throws across the diamond from a high 3/4 arm slot with an arm velocity up to 77mph. On the mound, he has a confident mound presence with a good feel for pitching. He starts with a good rear hip coil and works with good direction down the mound. Attacks hitters with a FB topping out at 79mph, an 11/5 shaped breaking ball, and a slider he throws from the same window. He also mixes in a changeup with arm side run that he throws with FB arm speed. At the plate, he sets up in an athletic and even stance with comfortable hands. Has a controlled load and has a smooth swing. He hit balls to the pull side with a bat exit velocity up to 68mph during his round of BP. During the games, Dylan reached base 3 times with a triple, and 2 walks. Overall, Dylan is a good prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

07/22/2021 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (MS) Dylan continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At 3B, he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with momentum to his target. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. He moves well laterally with range improving as he increases his foot quickness. At the plate, he shows an open setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 70 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

02/07/2021 - National Evaluation and Tryout - Myrtle Beach, SC Dylan continues to shine with improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At SS, he displays clean actions. Feet are active as he works to square balls up but needs to play through with his body. Glove action is clean but needs to lower and present more out front. At the, he shows an open setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He works to keep hands inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 65 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. He needs to work to stay on top of pitch more to create bite. Control is solid as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

08/23/2020 - Summer Pro Training Experience - MD (MS) Dylan continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and he is a prospect on the diamond. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. He works on time and utilizes his lower half well through the swing. At 3B, he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. Throws are accurate with carry across the diamond but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable, makes adjustments, and competes on the field.

06/17/2020 - Official Player Development Membership - Myrtle Beach, SC Dylan is a RHP prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the field. On the mound, Dylan gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose arm and stays inline toward the plate. Dylan shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 62mph. Breaking ball sits from 55-57mph with 10-4 break. Finishing with his chest over his front knee can help Dylan improve as a pitcher. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an open stance and takes a short stride. He is fluid getting into his load and maintains center balance. He takes a level swing with fast bat speed, leading to consistent line drives. Dylan can improve as a hitter by driving his lower half more. With six more years to develop, Dylan has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

01/26/2020 - Interactive Video Program - Myrtle Beach, SC Dylan is a lean, 2-way player who plays SS and RHP. Defensively, Dylan has fluid/active feet, agile range, and he gets in a good fielding position. He has an aggressive approach, clean hands, and he throws with accuracy and consistency across the diamond. On the mound, Dylan has good balance, a clean arm circle, and he separates his hands on time. He works well to his balance point, pitches in good tempo, and competes in the zone. Offensively, Dylan has a tall/open stance, he loads well, and he swings in good rhythm. He gets the bat through and hits with strength to the pull side. Dylan can improve with work on the following

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
