08/15/2021 - All-In Membership - Honolulu, HI Dylan is a 3B prospect in the class of 2024. Medium frame athletic build with strength present and room to add throughout. Active feet, with a good prep step, and ability to center the baseball. Showed ability to cover ground to both sides of his body. Smooth actions as he creates good fielding angles. Clean exchanges, with a long arm, and arm velocity of 75mph across diamond. At the plate, he starts in a tall and open stance. Does a good job staying balanced throughout his swing. Gets on-plane early, with an all fields approach, and ability to keep his hands inside the baseball. Fast bat through hitting zone as he hit balls into both gaps with a bat exit velocity of 83mph during BP. With 3 years of continued growth and development, we foresee Dylan having opportunities to play at the next level.

01/12/2020 - Interactive Video Program - Waipahu (Honolulu), HI Dylan is a solid, talented 3rd baseman who will graduate in 2024. Defensively, Dylan is light on his feet, he has soft hands, and he presents them well. He fields athletically, centers well on his body, and his exchange is clean with a consistent/accurate arm across the diamond. At the plate, Dylan has a quiet set-up, a still head, and fast bat speed. He is short to the ball, he makes solid/consistent contact, and hits with pop to the pull side. Solid overall skills can get even better with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
