02/19/2024 - National Showcase - Parker , CO Dylan is a 2025 3B/RHP prospect with an athletic frame at 5'11" 173 pounds. At third, he does a good job of making swift movements to the baseball and working behind when he can. He gets in a low fielding position and presents firm hands out in front. He shows off a good backhand that works through the baseball. He has a quick exchange and stays accurate to his targets. He is able to throw from multiple slots depending on the play. At the plate, he starts in a squared stance and gets a good load. He has good movements to the baseball with his lower half and stays back well when attacking pitches. His bat speed is solid and he shows off coordinated hip rotation when he finishes. He looks to spray the ball and does a great job of hitting line drives to all fields. On the mound, he is very projectable. With his size he shows off an impressive mound presence and with his mechanics he is able to work low in the zone to attack hitters. He has good balance and an on-time release. He gets good extension and finishes with his chest over his front knee. He is able to throw strikes with the FB/CH mix and his CB has good spin. Overall, Dylan is an intriguing prospect that should have the chance to play at the next level!

12/27/2022 - Baseball Factory Recruiting Classic Dylan is an athletic 3B/RHP in the 2025 class. Scouts loved his energy, hustle and his in-game engagement. They felt he was a hard-working player who never to a pitch off. In the field, he funnels well and has a quick exchange. He has a strong loose arm and his DP footwork is advanced. Has solid range and a quick 1st step. On the mound, he is aggressive and can put hitters away. He is in the zone and lets his defense work. His FB has a ¾ release and sits 72. His CB sits 63 and has 11-5 shape. His CH has FB arm speed at sits 62. At the plate, he has barrel feel and stays inside his feet well. He is on-time with the pitch and shows line drive production. Working to stay sideways to the plate will help him from pulling off pitches. Overall, Dylan is a player to watch in the 2025 class.

07/25/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Lakewood (Denver), CO Dylan is a 3B/RHP prospect who will graduate in 2025. Medium frame lean build with strength present. At 3B, athletic actions, with active, and showed ability to play through baseball. Works from right to left as he fields from an athletic/low fielding position with low funnel. He has a long arm stroke, with a high 3/4 release point, and creates momentum on his throws. Made consistent throws to first base with an arm velocity up to 74mph. On the mound, gathers over the rubber, with a good rear hip coil, and has a clean arm stroke. Throws from a high 3/4 arm slot, with ability to repeat his delivery, and works with good direction down the mound. Flashed a FB that sat 69-71mph with plus command, an 11/5 shaped breaking ball that he keeps down in the zone, and a changeup with cutting action that he throws with FB arm speed. At the plate, he hits from an upright and open stance. Simple/smooth swing, with quick hands, and gets good extension through the hitting zone. Showed ability to drive balls into both gaps with a bat exit velocity up to 77mph. With 3 years of continued growth and development, we foresee Dylan making huge strides on the baseball field.

07/22/2021 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (MS) Dylan continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At 3B, he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with momentum to his target. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. He moves well laterally with range improving as he increases his foot quickness. At the plate, he shows an open setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 68 mph with sink. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with slight sink. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

06/25/2021 - Baseball Factory All-State Tournament (MS) Dylan is a 3B/RHP prospect who showcased his skills during the All-State Tournament. In the field, Dylan centers the ball in the middle of his body and fields with a firm glove. He throws from a 3/4 angle and keeps his throws consistent across the diamond. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and takes his stride on time. He works through a level swing and drives the ball to the opposite field. On the mound, Dylan gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and extends through his release, staying inline toward the plate. Dylan operates with a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 67mph with sinking action. Breaking ball sits from 55-57mph with 11-5 break. Changeup sits from 59-60mph with cutting action as he throws with deceptive arm speed. With four more years to develop, Dylan has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
