07/16/2022 - Baseball Factory National World Series at IMG Academy- Session 1 (HS) Elias is a talented 3B/RHP in the 2025 class. He recently impressed scouts with his two-way actions and impressions. He was described as high energy player and hard worker with excellent body language. In the field, he has active feet and creates solid angles to the ball. Has a quick 1st step read and gains an athletic fielding position. Has a strong loose arm across the diamond (84 velo) with accuracy. On the mound, he has repeatable mechanics and will pitch aggressively by showing ability to throw in to win. Demonstrates a quick move and controls the running game well (1.3 to the plate). His heavy FB topped at 82 with loose and quick arm action. His CB sat 63-7 and slider sat 75-6 with 10/4 shape. His CH stays down in the zone and has feel with 72-3 velo. Tends to throw across his body at times and scouts feel its an easy fix based upon his work ethic. At the plate, he controls the barrel well and produces contact. Improved his hitting skills daily and scouts feel his bat is on the rise. Overall, Elias is a solid two-way player with a bright future.

04/10/2022 - All-In Membership - Sanford (Orlando), FL Elias is a RHP/3B prospect who will graduate in 2025. On the mound, Elias gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and extends through his release, finishing with his chest over his front knee. Elias operates with a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 80mph with sinking action. Breaking ball sits from 62-63mph with 11-5 break. Changeup sits from 67-69mph with arm side run and sinking action as he throws with deceptive arm speed. In the field, Elias shows efficient footwork and moves well laterally. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front with soft hands. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate with carry through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a crouched stance and takes a short stride. He is smooth to load and engages his lower half well. He works through a direct swing with good extension, driving the ball to all fields. Overall, Elias is a talented prospect who has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
