12/28/2022 - National Showcase - Marlborough (Boston), MA Emanuel continues to show as a prospect with improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 7.10 runner. At SS, defensive abilities are now outstanding as he shows smooth/fluid actions. Feet are active as he attacks balls and plays through with his body. Hands are soft and presents out front. He utilizes his foot speed well in covering a lot of ground in the MIF. At the plate, hitting/power potential are now well above average through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (85 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap-to-gap power. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently.

01/14/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (FL) Emanuel is a class of 2023 SS/2B. He shows off a medium sized frame with lots of room to fill out. He shows a good prep step and the ability to throw from multiple arm slots. Shows good double play feeds and clean transfers. Emanual is a good player that we hope to see again soon.

11/14/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Marlborough (Boston), MA Emanuel is a SS prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the diamond. In the field, Emanuel shows active footwork and covers ground well. He gets into a square position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he makes on-line throws to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes his stride on time. He is fluid to load and engages his lower half well. He works through a direct swing and drives the ball from gap to gap. Overall, Emanuel is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

09/27/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Brockton (Boston), MA Emanuel continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At SS, he displays smooth/athletic actions. Feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. Throws are accurate but needs to continue to build more arm strength. At the plate, he shows a tall, open setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently.

01/17/2020 - 2020 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Emauel is an athletic and talented 2B prospect. At 2B, Emanuel starts on the balls of his feet, he is on time with his prep step, and presents a low/early glove. He works from the ground up, fields the ball with 2 hands, and plays through his back hand. He has good feeds and footwork off the bag when turning double plays. At the plate, Emanuel starts in a squared stance, has good rhythm in his load, and gets his front foot down on time. He has good timing, he’s aggressive on the fastball, and he looks to make contact to all fields. Emanuel got an opportunity to show off his versatility on the bump as well. He threw his fastball for strikes and topped out at 60 mph. Emanuel will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

10/26/2019 - Mid Atlantic Regional Pitching/Catching & Offensive Skills Combined Weekend (Ages 14-18) Emanuel is a coachable 2B/RHP prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Accelerated Training Weekend. On the mound, Emanuel gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose arm and accelerates through his release, staying inline towards the plate. Emanuel shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 60mph. Breaking ball sits from 56-58mph with good movement. Changeup sits from 60-62mph as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Continuing to add strength can help Emanuel improve as a pitcher. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He is fluid getting back into his load and hits against a strong front side. He takes a direct swing with fast bat speed, leading to loud contact and line drives. Emanuel can improve as a hitter by keeping his bat from wrapping in his load. Overall, Emanuel is a solid prospect who has the potential to further develop his skills on the field.

08/18/2019 - National Tryout Plus - Providence, RI Emanuel worked out at SS and on the mound, and showed solid improvements in his game. He raised arm velocity to 63 MPH, lowered his 60 time to 8.28, and showed offensive and defensive upgrades. At SS, Emanuel has quick/fluid feet, soft hands, and he fields low and athletically. He covers ground well, shows a quick exchange, and throws with a loose arm action across the diamond. On the mound, this RHP has good mechanics, solid balance, and he separates his hands on time. He keeps his eyes on target and competes in the zone. Offensively, Emanuel has a tall/open stance, good balance, and he swings in good rhythm. He works the middle of the field, stays through the ball, and uses his lower body.

12/20/2018 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic - Session 1 (Ages 12-14) Emanuel is an athletic and talented 2023 2-way prospect with a high baseball IQ. At 2B, Emanuel starts in an athletic position, he presents a low/early glove, and he's on time with his prep step. He has good instincts off the bat and has good hands on double play balls. At the plate, Emanuel starts in an open stance, he gets his front foot down on time, and has good barrel control. He drives the ball to all fields but he needs to continue to create backside rotation with his lower half. On the bump, Emanuel has good mound presence and throws strikes. He gathers over the rubber, separates on time, and works downhill. Emanuel is a grinder and worked hard all week. He will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

06/10/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Medford (Boston), MA Emanuel is a young, 2-way player who catches and plays 2nd base. Behind the plate, Emanuel has active feet, agile movements, and he sits in low and athletically. He presents his glove well, has a clean exchange, and throws with accuracy from a short arm action to his target. At 2B, Emanuel has active feet, an early glove, and he centers well on his body. He has some range to the glove side, a clean exchange, and throws with accuracy to his target. Offensively, Emanuel has an athletic set-up, a good base, and a solid hand load. He swings in rhythm, he can spray to all fields, and he uses his lower body. Emanuel can improve overall skills with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
