09/04/2020 - MS All-Region Tournament Enrique is an athletic C prospect who showed well during the All-Region Tournament. Behind the plate, Enrique shows quick footwork and is agile moving to block. He sits in an athletic stance and receives with soft hands. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate with carry through the 2B bag. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and takes his stride on time. He is smooth getting back into his load and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a level swing with fast bat speed, leading to loud contact and pull side pop. Overall, Enrique is a talented prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

01/17/2020 - 2020 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Enrique is a coachable C prospect who showed well during the All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament. He did show on the mound for the first time at the event. Behind the plate, he sits in an athletic stance and receives with a quiet glove. He shows good footwork to throw and makes a clean exchange, keeping his throws accurate with carry through the 2B bag, showing in the 2.25 range. He is smooth moving to block and covers up well. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a controlled stride. He is on time getting into a smooth load and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a level swing with decent bat speed, leading to solid raw power. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 69-72 mph with life. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

08/25/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Pensacola, FL Enrique is a solid catcher with good skills. Behind the plate, Enrique has quick feet, agile movements, and he sits in low and athletically. He has athletic actions, a quick exchange, and he throws with carry and accuracy from a short arm action to 2nd base. Pop times were as low as 2.22 seconds. Offensively, Enrique has a square stance, he loads well, and swings in good rhythm. He has fast bat speed, he makes hard/consistent contact, and he uses his lower body. Solid skills can get even better with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
