06/16/2019 - Omaha National World Series - Session 1 (Ages 14-18) Enrique showed solid offensive and defensive skills during his time in Omaha. He is a coachable, hard working player with great hustle. At 2nd base, Enrique has quick feet, good pre-pitch actions, and he fields from the right. He makes plays, has a clean release, and throws with accuracy to his target. More range and added arm strength can help defensive abilities further improve. Offensively, Enrique has an open stance, activated hands, and explosive bat speed. He makes square contact and rotates his core through. Letting the ball travel deeper and a more consistent barrel can help already solid hitting numbers get even better.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
