09/03/2021 - Baseball Factory's All-Region Tournament (HS)
Enzo continues to shine on the diamond with improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. In the OF, he displays fluid / athletic actions. Feet are aggressive as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. Range will improve as he continues to improve foot quickness. At the plate, he shows a balanced setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 75 mph. Fastball shows a range of 72-75 mph. Breaking ball displays 2/8 shape with gradual break. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.
03/13/2021 - Spring Pro Training Experience - MD (HS)
Enzo continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. He improved power potential at the event. He shows a tall, squared setup. Hands are quick (81 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap to gap pop. In the OF, defensive abilities are now solid as he displays smooth / athletic actions. He reads balls well off the bat and takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. Feet are aggressive as he works behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. He moves well laterally with range improving as he increases foot quickness. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 73 mph. Fastball showed a range of 68-73 mph. Breaking ball displays 2/8 shape with gradual break. He throws a slider that resembles breaking ball. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.
12/05/2020 - Mid-Atlantic Regional Offensive Skills Weekend
Enzo is a coachable OF prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Offensive Skills Weekend. At the plate, this LHH sets up in a square stance and takes a square stride. He is smooth to load and works through a level swing, producing consistent contact. Driving his lower half more can help Enzo generate more pop off the barrel. Overall, Enzo is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.
09/04/2020 - MS All-Region Tournament
Enzo is a skilled 2-way player who continues to progress and showed well during his time at the All-Region Tournament. Offensively, this lefty steps into the box with a purpose. He has active hands with rhythm to load. Swing is quick as he connects, hitting the ball where it's pitched and driving it to all parts of the field. In the OF, he takes a quick first step and tracks down fly-balls hit into the gaps. He secures the ball with 2-hands, has a clean transfer and works in-line toward his target. On the mound, this lefty mixes his pitches well and keeps hitters off balance. Ball comes out slightly deceptive with his FB now topping out at 70 mph. Breaking ball shows 2/8 shape and compliments FB well. Natale has a ton of upside and should find success in this only his Freshman year.
05/30/2020 - Official Player Development Membership - Avon (Cleveland), OH
Enzo continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. In the OF, defensive abilities have improved as he displays smooth / clean actions. He takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind and plays through with momentum to his target. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. Throws are accurate, flashing carry but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved through an open, athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He makes consistent hard contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side.
02/29/2020 - Baseball Factory Mid-Atlantic Combined Skills Training - Columbia, MD (Ages 12-14)
Enzo is a young 2-way prospect who made another velocity jump on the mound at the Skills Weekend. The LHP topped out at 67 mph with his usual tailing action. His arm slot allows his curve to get 2-8 o'clock action with some depth that tunnels well with his fastball. He adds in a developing change to round out his 3-pitch mix. Enzo's delivery shows balance and rhythm with a clean arm stroke. He can still get more out of his lower half and improve the consistency of his delivery, but there is an excellent foundation in place. At the plate he has natural rhythm that leads into a good load and separation. He hits from a square stance and stays balanced. A more relaxed approach with a looser grip should help to make his swing shorter and quicker on a regular basis. Overall, Enzo is an intriguing player to watch develop over the next few years.
12/27/2019 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic (Ages 12-14)
Enzo is a coachable OF/LHP prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Winter Classic. In the field, Enzo fields with soft hands and gains momentum well on his throws, working to keep his throws accurate to his target. Getting into a more athletic fielding position can help Enzo improve defensively. At the plate, this LHH sets up in an open stance and gets into a small load. He takes a level swing and drives the ball to his pull side. Enzo can improve as a hitter by driving his lower half more. On the mound, Enzo gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose arm and stays inline towards the plate, finishing square to his target. Enzo shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 64mph with arm side run. Breaking ball sits from 54-56mph with 2-8 break. Changeup sits from 54-57mph with arm side run. Extending through his release can help Enzo improve as a pitcher. With four more years to develop, Enzo has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

Enzo raised arm velocity (64 MPH), lowered 60 time (8.5 seconds), and showed a spike in exit velo (66 MPH) during his last workout with The Factory. In the OF, Enzo has firm hands, efficient footwork, and moves well to the ball. He reads the ball well off the bat, his exchange is clean, and he throws with a long arm action to his target. On the mound, Enzo has a loose arm action and he works quickly. His CB shows nice 1-7 shape and he is around the zone with his pitches. At the plate, Enzo hits hard to the pull side through a closed set-up. He has a short/square stride, hits line drives, and he uses his lower body.
06/19/2019 - Baseball Factory Select Training at the College World Series (Ages 12-14)
Enzo showed continual improvement out in Omaha with a projectable frame. In the OF Enzo shows a good ready position with effective footwork and works behind the ball well. His hands play out front and gets his release in synch with accurate throws with backspin. At the plate Enzo sets up with a square stance and comfortable hands. His load is simple with a square stride. He fires his lower half well and gets the barrel on plane with consistent contact. On the mound Enzo shows a 3-pitch mix with a FB, CB, CH. The FB shows some sink at times, the CB has 11-5 gradual break, and his CH is 53-56 with some depth. Long tossing a CH grip should help this pitch develop.
His set up is square and gathers well with on time separation. He accelerates and strides in line rotating to finish at the target. Enzo continues to show progress every time he shows up and has several years to continue to build.
11/15/2018 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition at Pirate City (Ages 12-14)
Enzo is a lean, athletic OF/LHP who will graduate in 2024. In the OF, he utilizes his athletic feet well in tracking down balls through proper routes / angles and utilizes two hands well through the fielding process. He works to get behind balls but needs to play through with momentum to his target. Range will increase as he improves his foot quickness. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 55-58 mph with tailing action. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with tail but throws too hard, resembling fastball. Control is a plus as he attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be. With 6 years to further develop, Enzo has abilities with time and room to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale
Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic
evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches
with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.
Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However,
for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for
Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).

Running - U.S. National Metrics
Measured with a stopwatch, this test indicates the athlete's acceleration in the first 10
yards
of the sprint. This is crucial when tracking down a ball or exploding off of a base.
Measured with a stop watch, the 40yd dash tests an athlete's speed from point A to B.
Considering acceleration, top speed, and stamina, this test combines to show an athlete's
straight-line speed.
Measured with a stop watch, the 60yd dash tests an athlete's speed from point A to B.
Considering acceleration, top speed, and stamina, this test combines to show an athlete's
straight-line speed.
Athlete's run in short bursts 5 yards to the left, changes direction and run 10 yards to the
right, then pivot and explodes 5 yards back to the left finishing where they started. The
shuttle run tests an
athlete's lateral quickness, explosion in short areas and ability to change direction.
Athlete's run in short bursts 5 yards to the right, changes direction and run 10 yards to
the
left, then pivot and explodes 5 yards back to the right finishing where they started. The
shuttle run tests an
athlete's lateral quickness, explosion in short areas and ability to change direction.
The athlete starts from a still place, crouches, rocks back and leaps forward on a
horizontal
plane. This measures lower half strength, hip mobility and core strength.
Taking the standard broad jump to the next level, here we can test for lateral quickness and
explosion by having the athlete jump off on one leg and in the direction of the other. This
also gives us a feel for the
independent explosiveness of each side of the lower half of the body.

Using a dynamometer, we test for grip strength by having an athlete squeeze the device as
hard
as they can for a few seconds. In general, the stronger an athlete's grip the quicker their
bat speed and throwing
velocity.

Also known as Pop Time, this test is measured using a stopwatch. The catcher receives a
pitch,
exchanges, and throws down to 2B. The timer starts when the ball contacts the Catcher's
glove and is stopped when the
ball contact's the middle infielder's glove at 2B. Combining technique, agility, and arm
strength, Pop Time is one
of the most important metrics for a Catcher because it indicates their ability to throw
runners out.
The batter hits a ball off a tee and we use a radar gun to capture the velocity of the ball
coming off the barrel of the bat. This test gives an idea of an athlete's bat speed,
explosiveness, hand speed, and overall strength.
The arm grade takes into consideration a variety of components including the initial
trajectory (speed and angle upon
exit from the hand), the raw radar velocity (measured in MPH), the
carry or flight of the ball (what the ball is doing
in the air), and the action and accuracy of the ball into the target (speed
and angle upon arrival).

Pitching - U.S. National Tool Grade
The breaking ball (Curveball or Slider) grade takes into consideration a variety of
components
including the
spin (quantity of spin, intended angle of break), depth
(where
the break takes place),
feel (where the ball goes and consistency of spin and action),
velocity (difference from fastball).
Disclaimer: This is a subjective grade from our professional scouts based on evaluating players
nationwide since 1994.
