06/14/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Daytona Beach, FL Eric is a class of 2021 1st baseman. In the field, he does a good job of finding the ball in his glove and making the routine play. He shows off the ability to make consistent and accurate throws. At the plate, he shows off good physicality. He does a good job creating a consistent load leading to a lower ½ that gets through the baseball. His long levers help him create some pull side power. We hope to see Eric again at a future event.

04/08/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Sanford (Orlando), FL Eric is a young 1st baseman with a strong build. Defensively, Eric has good pre-pitch actions, he moves well around the bag, and he makes the routine plays. He keeps the ball in front, has a clean exchange, and can throw from multiple arm slots with accuracy to his target. At the plate, Eric has an athletic set-up, he loads well, and shows fast bat speed. He makes square contact, hits hard to the pull side, and gets his lower body through. Eric can improve overall skills with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
