11/08/2019 - Baseball Factory's Fall Classic Tournament at Pirate City Eric is a coachable RHP/2B prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Fall Classic at Pirate City. On the mound, Eric gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and extends through his release, staying inline towards the plate. Eric shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 75mph with cutting action. Breaking ball sits from 63-67mph with 10-4 break. Changeup sits from 65-68mph with sinking action as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Lengthening his arm action can help Eric improve as a pitcher. In the field, Eric gets into a square position and fields the ball out in front with soft hands. He throws from a low 3/4 angle and keeps his throws accurate to his target. Eric can improve defensively by increasing his lateral range. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a wide stance and works to barrel up the baseball, making solid contact. Maintaining center balance throughout his swing can help Eric improve as a hitter. Overall, Eric is a solid prospect who has the potential to further develop his skills on the field.
